What is your favorite thing about Ed Robson Arena? The new building and amazing staff!
Cody Rempelos was named the Assistant Ice Technician & Building Operations Assistant of Ed Robson Arena in February 2025. He had been an Ice Arena and Facility Associate at the Arena since October 2023.
In this role, he is responsible for maintaining a high-quality ice surface and utilizes his strong mechanical skills to ensure the Zambonis and other ice maintenance equipment are operating correctly. Rempelos is the primary point for basic arena maintenance and supports ice/building conversions. He also serves as the building’s liaison to Sodexo and works closely to ensure the building is cleaned and maintained to the highest level.
During the spring of 2024, Rempelos served as a traveling operations intern for the American Junior Golf Association. He was responsible for transportation of equipment between tournaments, as well as leading a team in event setup, execution, and teardown of high-profile Junior Golf tournaments. During the summers of 2022 and 2023, he interned with the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, focusing efforts on the Downtown Fan Fest and spectator viewing areas on the course. He also served as a Lead Gameday Marketing Intern for the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation from August 2020 - May 2023 and was a Lead Merchandise Associate for the CU Boulder Team Store with Fanatics from February 2020 - November 2023.
Rempelos, a Colorado native, attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a Sports Management emphasis, in December 2023.
