Assistant Director of Operations

Holden Eckhout joined the staff at Ed Robson Arena as the Assistant Director of Operations in October of 2022.

​

Eckhout is responsible for coordination, oversight, and training of student, part-time and on-call employees, including the development of a robust internship program. Additionally, he will provide leadership for all aspects of day-of event implementation, including but not limited to setup/take down and event coverage for all events and will work closely with campus departments, National Governing Bodies (NGB’s), and the city of Colorado Springs.

Holden served an an Event & Arena Operations Intern with Robson Arena  and has also served as an intern for USA Boxing and USA Artistic Swimming. He brings unique experience on events and facilities operations and has a wealth of knowledge on campus and community partners and other external groups.

Eckhout is from Amherst, NE and is an alumni of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Sport Management program.
