Courtney Bessell started at Ed Robson Arena in January of 2022. Her primary responsibilities involve facility operations, event management, the monthly newsletter, figure skating operations, along with upfront and back of house arena services and communication.

Born and raised in Friendswood Texas, Courtney moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where she is earning her B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Sport Management with Minors in both French and Entrepreneurship. She is also currently training in Colorado Springs as a figure skater, disciplining in Ice Dance. Her ultimate career goal is to own and operate her own ice arena.
